BALTECH VP-3450 –device for diagnostics of rolling elements bearing by shock pulse method Application of BALTECH VP-3450
BALTECH VP-3450 for diagnostics of rolling elements bearing by shock pulse method (hereinafter “tester”) is designed to monitor rolling elements bearing condition of rotator machinery, to check equipment mechanical condition for mechanical damages.
The main application of the tester is measurement of operating bearing parameters by shock pulse method. The information about the damage severity of bearings allows to:
- avoid unnecessary inspections and repairs, when the machine is in good working condition;
- exclude scheduled replacement of bearings that are in good working condition
- detect invisible problems in proper time to exclude emergency situations and down time, associated with replacement and scheduled repair
Construction and principle of operation:
The tester BALTECH VP-3450 consists of an electronic device and a sensor. The sensor is built in into the holder and is connected to the device via a cable. The device housing is made of ABS plastic . The device has a single-chip microcontroller , LCD and membrane keyboard on the face side. The battery is in the battery cabinet. The battery cabinet cover is fixed with screws. Connectors for sensors and headphones are on the front end side of the device.
During measurement procedure the sensor is connected to the device via the cable and is pressed by a probe to a bearing cover.
The bearing condition is assessed by the color scale: green- good condition, yellow- warning, red- damage. Measurement modes are set by the keyboard
